Unlike ICO or the closed sale of coins, in IEO the exchange acts as an intermediary between investors and the project.

The first public sale of shares of a joint stock company, including in the form of the sale of depositary receipts for shares, to an unlimited number of persons. The sale of shares can be carried out either by placing an additional issue of shares by open subscription, or by publicly selling shares of an existing issue.
HYIP (High Yield Investment Program) - for financial companies they mean a project similar to an investment fund with high profitability, a kind of financial pyramid, investment model, which promises a high return on investment by paying money to former participants at the expense of revenues from new customers.
